Cookie Policy

Effective date: February 23, 2026  ·  Last updated: February 23, 2026

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to improve efficiency, and to provide information to the site owners. Similar technologies such as local storage, session storage, and pixel tags may be used in the same way and are covered by this policy.

2. How SpinDeck Uses Cookies & Storage

SpinDeck uses a minimal set of cookies and browser storage. We distinguish between cookies set by our service and those set by third parties embedded in our pages.

4. Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the Service to function and cannot be switched off. They are set in response to actions you take, such as logging in or saving settings. You can configure your browser to block these cookies, but doing so will prevent you from using authenticated features of the Service.

5. Functional Storage (Local Storage)

SpinDeck uses browser local storage (not cookies) to save your wheel designs and daily spin count on your device. This data is never transmitted to our servers unless you choose to create an account and sync your wheels. You can clear this data at any time through your browser's developer tools or site settings.

6. Analytics & Performance Cookies

We may use anonymised, aggregated analytics to understand how users interact with the Service so we can improve it. Where we use third-party analytics providers, data is processed under data processing agreements and IP addresses are anonymised before storage.

We do not currently use advertising or tracking cookies. If this changes, we will update this policy and request your consent where required by law.

7. Third-Party Cookies

Our infrastructure partner Cloudflare may set cookies on our domain for security, bot mitigation, and performance purposes. These are governed by Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

8. Managing Cookies

You can control cookies through the following mechanisms:

  • Browser settings – most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies. Refer to your browser's help documentation for instructions.
  • Local storage – clear site data via your browser's developer tools (Application → Storage → Clear site data).
  • Opt-out tools – where we use analytics services that support opt-out, we will provide a mechanism within the Service.

Please note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will affect the functionality of the Service.

9. Consent

Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent. For other cookies (analytics, functional), where required by applicable law (e.g., ePrivacy Directive in the EU/UK), we will obtain your consent before setting them. You may withdraw consent at any time via your browser settings.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected by a new "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
